China Education Initiative – 2011 – 2012 – Columbia University – USA

The China Education Initiative (CEI) is an innovative non-profit organization primarily supported by the Ford Foundation that addresses educational inequality in low-income Chinese communities with high incidences of minority populations.

The Woodrow Wilson School’s China and the World Program (CWP)
Tsinghua University
Peking University – two of the most renowned academic institutions in China
The Chinese Communist Youth League’s (CYL) ‘Graduate Student Volunteer Program.
Eligibility for scholarship:

CEI operates with the approval of the Chinese central government and is the first and only volunteer organization in the PRC to pair graduates from top universities in the US and China in a long-term service initiative. We are now recruiting promising future leaders to serve as fully-sponsored teaching fellows in China



How to apply:

China Education Initiative seeks Teaching Fellows – from all backgrounds and career interests – who will excel in the classroom and become future leaders. We are looking for recent graduates as well as working professionals.For those of you interested in applying to the 2011-2013 Teaching Fellowship, we will be launching our online application in the coming weeks.
